4th of July (No Program)
In observance of the 4th of July, the Horizons program will be closed for faculty and staff on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th. We will resume normal operations and welcome back students and staff on Monday, July 8th.

Deeply Ingrained: Hands On Woodshop
This summer, our 4th and 7th graders teamed up with Deeply Ingrained to craft toolboxes and other fantastic items. Now, in 2024, our collaboration with Deeply Ingrained is expanding, and we're inviting your children to be a part of it!
What to Expect:
Activity: Building Candy Dispensers from Scratch
Led By: Mr. David Haus of Deeply Ingrained
Recommended Age: First grade and higher
Skill Development: Children will learn how to use basic tools under expert guidance.
Giving Tree 2023
The Holiday Season has officially kicked off at Horizons! Our annual giving trees are going up and we're excited to be receiving gifts soon.
Participants will receive:
- A $50 gift card to purchase gifts of your choosing
- Books at their grade level
- Hat, scarf, and gloves for the winter (because let's face it, they've probably lost several already!)
We will not be distributing gifts at the holiday party. Registered families will receive an email with dates and times to pick up during the week of December 4th. Registration closes on Dec. 7th. Learn More…

As a caregiver one of the toughest challenges we face is making sure that those we intrust our children with care for them properly. For 30 hours a week (not including extra curricular activities or aftercare) children are in school under the care of teachers, counselors and aides.
