Important Information

Enrollment priority will be given to returning students and siblings first, followed by students attending partner schools such as IPS 60 or IPS 43. Additionally, priority will be extended to families participating in The Children’s Museum Mid-North Promise Program, the Tabernacle Presbyterian Tutoring Program, or those who live near Horizons at St. Richard’s.

Some important information for you to know: 

  • Eligibility: Students MUST qualify for free/reduced lunch based on household income to be eligible for program enrollment.

  • Documentation: Tax documents and report cards must be submitted yearly to solidify program enrollment.

  • Attendance: Students may not miss more than 3 days or will be un-enrolled in the program

  • Transportation: AM and PM bus routes are available for students with limited access to transportation.

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily.

  • Program Dates: The program will begin Monday, June 10th, and End Thursday, July 18th.

  • Holiday Closures: No program on Juneteenth (June 19th), July 4th, or 5th.

  • Fee: A $30 registration fee per child is due at parent orientation. Scholarships are available.

Our Program

Horizons is not a summer camp, and it is not a summer school; it is an enrichment program staffed by certified teachers, teaching assistants, and interns. We are in program for 6-weeks during the summer but our program is year round!
